About MAC

The Mecklenburg Aquatic Club is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a comprehensive, year-round competitive, instructional, and recreational swimming program to the greater Charlotte area. The club and facility are owned by the families that make up the competitive team and governed by a Board of Directors composed of parent members and staff. The organization is incorporated in the state of North Carolina and is exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. MAC is a club member of USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport of swimming.
